DigitalReef today announced the following leadership appointments, effective July 14, 2022:
- Mark Yackanich has been appointed to the newly created role of President and Chief Operating Officer
- Maurizio Angelone transitioning to the role of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors
Today, DigitalReef is excited to announce new key leadership roles that will help to accelerate the company’s growth. Mark Yackanich has been named President and COO of DigitalReef, where he will take primary responsibility for the team’s operation, product go to market and platform management. In this new role, he will be focused on unlocking the potential of Digital Reef’s existing mobile audience platform and identifying new opportunities for growth in the emergent CTV/OTT space across the Americas.
Mark comes to Digital Reef through its recent acquisition of Column6, where he was CEO and Co-Founder. Mark is a veteran business operator who has spent much of his career focused on building businesses at the intersection of the media, technology, and telecommunications industries–experience that he now applies to his role.
“DigitalReef has undergone massive change and growth over the past year and I am excited to lead this team as we help build an emerging streaming media ecosystem and unlock new value added services for our partners,” Yackanich said. “DigitalReef is powered by a truly unique set of streaming, mobile infrastructure assets. We are partnered with many of the largest worldwide mobile carriers. We will be focused on unlocking the full potential of our technology and audience access for brands and agencies, worldwide.“
Maurizio Angelone, DigitalReef’s former CEO, is transitioning to the role of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. He will focus on key mobile carrier partnerships that enable competitive differentiation and unique inventory across LATAM. Maurizio was instrumental in establishing DigitalReef during its first critical year and will remain an integral part of the team moving forward.
“I’m looking forward to continuing to push DigitalReef to achieve the goals we have set,” Angelone said. “The team is making great progress in creating an advertising ecosystem that the world’s publishers and carriers can utilize.”
Earlier this year, DigitalReef announced the launch of DR-ONE, a unified adtech and martech platform for advertisers, app developers, and mobile operators. To learn more about DR-ONE and the products in DigitalReef’s ecosystem, please visit www.DigitalReef.com.
