Together with my three business partners, we co-founded Imagination Unwired (IU), an ad tech monetization platform for Telecom operators and OEMs to help them better understand their user base and engage with it in a more efficient and effective way. When we launched a few years ago, we envisioned a world where brands and advertisers could take advantage of a unique reef: the one built with a direct-to-device ecosystem that allows advertisers to have a deeper understanding of consumer behavior.
During the incredible journey of building the IU business, we had the opportunity to meet extremely focused and diligent entrepreneurs with whom we shared a joint vision. We are now working to make that vision a reality by partnering and creating value for our ecosystem of brands, carriers and mobile device manufacturers.
The world has changed a lot in the past several months and so have we as consumers: at DigitalReef we believe this was the right time to step up and contribute by creating alternative solutions that can better serve our clients to engage with their user base, to understand their needs and add value to their lives by connecting them with what they really love and want.

At launch, we are bringing together companies who have delivered significant contributions to their customers in the Latin American Market. By combining Flowsense, Imagination Unwired, IMOX, Lemmonet and MobTarget, DigitalReef will deliver a robust advertising platform to mobile operators, device manufacturers and application developers, brands and advertisers.
DigitalReef encompasses a total network of 300M+ registered users, captures 3.3 billion monthly impressions and reaches approximately 70% of mobile users in the Latin American market. .
Because of our obvious roots and strong footprint in the Latin American market, DigitalReef is poised to bring its expertise and solutions to a global audience. We have more than 350 active relationships with some of the world’s largest mobile networks, consumer brands and app publishers.
The Opportunity Ahead
Mobile is a fundamental aspect of our daily lives. As of 2019, there were 5.2 BILLION unique mobile subscribers. And by 2024, the mobile industry is projected to drive more than $4.9 trillion in contributions to the global gross domestic product.
I see a tremendous need for what DigitalReef, and its ecosystem of technologies, can deliver. As agencies and advertisers continue to ensure they have the best possible technology available, the global digital marketing software market is expected to become a $150+ billion market by 2027, more than triple what it is today.
And the main audiences those advertisers and publishers are wanting to reach have their eyes firmly focused on the palms of their hands. 90% of the youth uses smartphones to access information or content, which is anticipated to create massive engagement opportunities for advertisers in the mobile marketing space. In fact, by 2023, mobile ad spending is projected to account for more than 81% of all digital ads in the LATAM region.
